I was forced to register for a Facebook account, of all things...

But, though long and arduous the journey was, here I have made it. Now if only more posts would be put up, that I might go back to reading the new posts every half hour or so.

I am N.F.N. Tanuki, Master of Ceremonies, and relative newcomer to the Steampunk scene. Brass Goggles went down, and the next morning my own site went down. I am beginning to suspect a conspiracy. Which leads to the question: How can convicts engage in piracy? Are they not properly imprisoned?

I'm here too until BG is going again, will post when I can, but am a little busy trying to fix a dead backlight on my LCD monitor (turns out it's a faulty CCFL lamp - now digging in my parts bin for old laptop displays that have working CCFLs, and that will fit in my monitor.....).

Hello everyone. Been a reader of Brass Goggles for a long time.
I just love the beautiful artwork that is inherent in Steampunk items and architecture.

I just registered today, glad I found the emergency home for Brass Goggles.

I created a screen name for Gaslamp Bazarr, using the Steampunk Name Generator at Brass Goggles just before it went down. I didn't really like the one it returned by using my own name, so I kept trying different variations of several people in my family. It returned the "Earl Levi Halverson" and I thought, I LIKE that one. So that is my name here.

I really got interested in the look of Steampunk items because of my profession. I am sort of an event entertainer, and have a need for antique items, which got me looking at steampunk themed creations, and I fell in love with the artwork from the items.
