This is the pirate throne I've thrown (get it) together for halloween.
A (sadly rather poor) detail shot. The skellie on the right has your valuables and the skellie on the left is laughing at you.
More gaudiness and excess is in store my friends! Victory Through Opulence!

I like the throne, but, the skeleton on the right seems to have a rather...disjointed ribcage Otherwise, as I said, very good! Are you going to weather/stain the whole thing?

Ohh, that's beautiful...if I owned an airship, that's one of the first things I'd furnish it with.

Either way I love it- I may steal the idea & make a throne for myself in the kitchen...

I think the disjointed ribcage look is due to my poor lighting of the photo. That or the fact that they are $2 plastic skellies.
The skulls and skellies that I used were all of vastly different colors and matterials, that pretty much killed any
thoughts of an all bone throne (lol, "All Bone Throne" sounds like a porn rock band.) in the time I had available.
And yes! The throne will remain shiny! Regardless of what Hollywood thinks, gold DOES NOT tarnish or rust!

Personally, I have a firm believe that muck, grime, dirt, dust et all finds anything and everything
'Tis your choice, of course, good sir.

Weathered or not, I am in love with that have to make myself something similar. Good job!

Thanks! I think the missus likes it a bit too much. She has already taken to calling it her throne and has begun issuing demands (I'm sorry, "Royal Edicts") from it. Looks like I'll have to make one for me too! A bigger one...
